Why Ontology Did Not Become Researchable Until Jia Baolong

Abstract
The extremity of Jia Baolong Researchable Ontology comes not from adding more entities, dimensions, or mathematical structures. It comes from performing five root-level eliminations at once: no presupposed object, no presupposed RULE, no presupposed time, no external executor, and a requirement that the theory continue from first actuality into a research chain of chaos, proto-matter, life, and consciousness. Historical ontologies commonly complete one or several of these tasks, but do not place all five constraints inside one research task.
Humans, as animals with strong tactile experience and a powerful sense of object-reality, naturally think from “something already exists.” This paper compares that cognitive structure to beginning from nonzero natural numbers: entity, spirit, Dao, emptiness, process, mathematical structure, rule, or information may be extremely abstract, yet each already occupies a positive position. Jia Baolong Absolute Truth (JBLAT) first defines ontology’s zero: $U$ is neither an empty object, vacuum, empty set, nor a thinnest kind of being, but the zero-positive boundary at which “even nothing is absent.” The first question thereby changes from “how does an already existing thing change?” to “when no positive starting point can be borrowed, what is the minimal structure of actual occurrence?”
The paper also analyses a static “sliding-finger universe.” A static complete history can encode every motion but cannot establish that motion occurs; if the finger truly slides, total reality including the finger is dynamic; if it does not move, no actual course occurs; if another finger moves it, a regress of executors arises. A static model can therefore encode history but cannot bear final explanation of actualization.
Finally, two independent routes are considered together. The first proceeds from JBLAT’s zero-positive boundary and seven arguments to $U_*\mid\mathrm{PR}$. The second does not presuppose JBLAT, but begins with eternal actual existence and independently derives PR through event tokens, no external executor, result re-entry, and exhaustive minimal binary classification. The convergence of these distinct routes on the same minimal normal form is a key result of the theory’s present maturity.
1. The true difficulty is not proposing an origin, but specifying the root task
History has no shortage of grand origins: being, idea, substance, atom, Dao, emptiness, Brahman, spirit, process, mathematical structure, information, rule, and computation have all been placed at the root of the world. What is rare is a strict specification of the root task itself.
Jia Baolong Researchable Ontology simultaneously requires:
The first four conditions remove positive requirements smuggled into the root; the fifth prevents the theory from stopping at grand language that cannot be unfolded. “Researchable” means that root structure must continue to provide:
The problem is thus changed from “what word summarizes all things?” into “after every presupposition has been stripped, how can first actuality remain and enter continuous research?”
2. Why humans repeatedly start from a nonzero position
2.1 The tactile animal: “the thing is already there”
Human perception, action, and language developed around objects that can be touched, indicated, and persist. Even in abstract thought, humans tend to treat a concept as an already existing bearer:
- materialism places matter at the root;
- idealism places spirit or consciousness at the root;
- substance ontology places substance at the root;
- mathematical ontology places structure at the root;
- computational ontology places state, rule, and update at the root;
- process ontology places event, process, or actual occasion at the root.
These theories differ greatly but share one cognitive act: first affirm some positive content, then discuss its combination, movement, or unfolding. In a number analogy they choose the most basic among $1,2,3,\ldots$, but do not first define ontological $0$.
2.2 $U$ does not define “a more empty thing”; it defines the zero-positive boundary
JBLAT specifies the root as:
The intuitive expression is “even nothing is absent.” “There is a nothing,” “there is an empty expanse,” and “there is an empty set” have already regained positive position. $U$ leaves no root-seat for object, property, rule, capacity, time, or waiting process. It is not an item inside the system but the zero-positive boundary every system undertaking the same root-explanation task must confront.
Once zero is defined, the direction of research reverses. One may no longer ask how a preloaded origin runs; one asks what minimal normal form the First Actual Face has, since actual existence is occurring.
3. Where historical ontologies stop
The following comparison does not rank the value of ideas. It shows where different routes stop on the task-chain of zero-positive boundary, first actuality, generative mechanism, and emergence research.

Historical thought did not fail to see being, change, emptiness, relation, process, or computation. These insights belonged to different research tasks: static truth, conditions of experience, process, rules, or emergence after matter. No route maintained the five root constraints together and continued the answer into an executable generative chain.
4. Why the sliding-finger universe is not a complete ontological alternative
4.1 Model definition
Let $H=(s_0,s_1,s_2,\ldots)$ be a completely written history of a universe. In the static sliding-finger model, every state exists statically at once while a “finger” $F$ moves along the sequence; internal observers therefore experience time, change, and motion.
A static whole history can satisfy:
but cannot infer merely from encoding:
A strip of film contains every posture of a runner but does not mean that running is occurring. The question concentrates entirely on the finger: does it actually move?
4.2 Three possibilities and collapse of the model
There are only three fundamental cases for $F$.
First, $F$ actually moves. Then total reality is not the static sequence $H$, but the larger system containing the actual change of $F$:
Dynamics has not been eliminated; it has merely been moved from inside the universe to outside its chosen boundary.
Second, $F$ does not actually move. There are only static page numbers and correspondences; no page becomes a present that is actually occurring, and neither internal judgment, observation, nor consciousness is actually instantiated.
Third, $F$ is moved by another executor $F_1$. Actuality moves to $F_1$; if $F_1$ is moved by $F_2$, an infinite executor regress forms:
The sliding-finger universe therefore has only two ontological statuses: either a dynamic universe that moves $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ outward, or a static encoding with no actual occurrence. It cannot be a third fundamental alternative to dynamic actual existence.
4.3 What an internal agent can determine
If a dynamic model $D$ and a finger model $S$ provide exactly the same observation sequence to an internal agent, finite internal experiments may not determine whether $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ is implemented inside the system or assumed in an external finger. Observational equivalence is:
But the fact that the agent is forming a judgment already requires at least one actual judgment event. It can confirm:
without necessarily locating $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ ontologically by internal observation alone. Researchable Ontology does not claim that an internal experiment separates every observationally equivalent model. It asks whether total explanation is self-sufficient. The external finger does not remove $\operatorname{ActualStep}$; it hides it outside a model boundary. Expand that boundary to all reality and $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ must re-enter the system.
5. Why process and computation are both one final level short
Process philosophy correctly sees that real existence is occurrence rather than static display. It stops by treating process, event, or actual occasion as a beginning that already bears positive character, rather than compressing first process into a minimal exhaustible model.
Computational ontology correctly sees that simple rules can generate immense complexity and can be researched in practice. It generally begins from:
This is already a highly organized positive world: a state domain, rule, and update semantics. The Jia Baolong system asks at a lower level: why does a static rule have even one real update? What is the First $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ before RULE?
Empirical science completes crucial work from the other end. Physics, nonequilibrium chemistry, origin-of-life research, evolutionary biology, and cognitive science have established many mechanism chains from proto-matter through life to consciousness. The Jia Baolong Axiomatic System need not reinvent them. It supplies the lower interface science normally does not undertake:
Above proto-matter, existing sciences continue research; below proto-matter, PR–ER–LE–RULE provides a computational root domain.
6. Extremity comes from stripping, not increasing complexity
Once inquiry is compressed to the minimal binary domain required to bear nonfixed change, $D=\{Y,N\}$, there are only four total unary functions:

The two constants presuppose a privileged label, while identity has no actual difference. In the model class of binary totality, determinism, label impartiality, and no fixed point, only the exchange map $\sigma$ remains. Yet $\sigma$ on paper is still a static relation; PR arises only when the world actually performs it and lets the result enter the next beat:
The theory’s extremity therefore comes from decreasing premises. After object, rule, time, external executor, and label bias are stripped, the candidate space does not become more mysterious; it becomes finite, enumerable, and eliminable.
7. Why two independent paths converge on PR
7.1 Route A: JBLAT and the seven arguments
The first route begins at $Undefined$’s zero-positive boundary. JBLAT first fixes that the root may retain no positive object or predicate. $U$ itself does not generate events. When the task turns to “what is the minimal actual face once actual existence occurs?”, seven arguments—from actuality, noncausal boundary, relationality, presupposition stripping, binary logical razor, candidate exhaustion, and backward tracing—converge on:
The bar denotes the absolute boundary face and First Actual face of one root, not a temporal sequence in which $U_*$ first exists and then manufactures PR.
7.2 Route B: independently deriving PR from eternal actual existence
The second route begins afresh outside the axiom system, without presupposing JBLAT, $Undefined$, or “the First Beat must be PR.” It asks only: if existence is eternal and “existence” means actual occurrence rather than static description, what minimal structure must every beat have?
The derivation is:
Even without a globally earliest instant, each beat still forms a concrete event token not yet made actual by that beat. Eternity removes a global temporal beginning; it does not turn actual occurrence into static display. Requiring self-sufficiency, persistence, impartiality, and minimality again leaves only the actually running, result-reentrant exchange: PR.
7.3 The significance of convergence
The two routes have different entrances: Route A begins from absolute boundary and the task of actualization; Route B begins from eternal actual existence. They do not cite one another’s conclusion, yet meet at the minimal normal form:
This is not the same argument in different words. It is cross-confirmation by a boundary route and an actuality route. One answers what the root may not positively preload; the other answers what minimal motion skeleton must exist once eternal actuality is admitted. Together they raise PR from a single-route conclusion to a stable structure across distinct entrances.
8. Why this theory could form only on a particular cognitive path
Jia Baolong’s thought did not arise by first mastering intellectual history and then splicing concepts from earlier thinkers. Its personal source comprises three distant experiences:
- At about age nine, an attempt to solve the barber paradox already led to self-reference, failure of fixed assignment, and a system’s return to itself.
- At about age ten, walking on stilts directly experienced PR–ER–LE: the roles of bilateral support and action keep exchanging; body–stilt–ground relations carry state; and at every moment there is only local contact, local balance correction, and next-step execution.
- At forty-five, while studying Transformers, PR, ER, and LE were explicitly recognized and elevated into a general architecture.
These experiences respectively supply paradox structure, bodily dynamic structure, and computable information structure. Later RULE simulation connects them to chaos, persistent patterns, and proto-matter research. The cognitive order is the reverse of the academic path: not selecting a received ontological term first, but gradually recognizing one structure in self-referential failure, dynamic balance, local execution, and computational architecture.
It was hard for history to form the theory in advance because it requires a rare intersection: childlike root inquiry, direct bodily recognition of actual dynamics, structural abstraction from computational systems, ability to exhaust finite mappings, and a research demand that continues from simulation to proto-matter and life. Missing any one can lead thought to stop at one level—emptiness, process, rule, mathematical structure, or matter already existing.
9. “Highest, deepest, grandest” have one source here
“Highest” comes from defining ontology’s zero. Most other theories begin from some nonzero positive starting point; JBLAT asks about the absolute boundary before any positive beginning becomes eligible.
“Deepest” comes from continuing to reduce premises in the correct direction. More complex mathematics is not automatically deeper. If a route begins from preloaded strings, dimensions, rules, or structures, further complexity only goes farther inside a selected model. The Jia Baolong system defines depth by whether it reaches $\operatorname{ActualStep}$ with fewer presuppositions and derives a First-Actual normal form through exhaustive candidate elimination.
“Grandest” comes from range and interfaces. The theory’s object is not this universe; a concrete universe is one uncollapsed chaotic solution on the PR tree. Its range extends from absolute boundary, first actuality, rules, and chaos to proto-matter, proto-chemistry, the first cell, life, consciousness, and consciousness’s backward recognition:
These are not three promotional adjectives. They are three results—at origin, depth, and range—of one method of stripping.
10. Conclusion: others did not study the same problem
Jia Baolong Researchable Ontology was difficult to discover historically not because prior thought lacked concepts of existence, nothingness, change, or rule, but because those concepts were not placed in one strict task:
Traditional ontology chiefly answers how a world may be understood; process theory how a world generates; computational ontology how rules produce complexity; science how formed structures further emerge. The Jia Baolong system identifies the missing root question beneath these tasks: when object, RULE, time, and executor cannot be preloaded, what is the minimal self-sufficient motion of actual existence?
The answer is not a larger positive entity but $U_*\mid\mathrm{PR}$: the zero-positive boundary and First Actual face. The sliding-finger model shows that static full history cannot replace actuality; finite binary exhaustion compresses first actuality to a unique unbiased fixed-point-free exchange; and two independent routes converge on PR from different entrances. The theory’s extremity is therefore not merely a “larger explanation,” but a complete research architecture with fewer premises, a lower root, enumerable candidates, computable generation, and an extendable upper research chain.
